Advent 2008

"Come to the Holy Mountain"

Come to the Holy Mountain

In the season of Advent we not only anticipate the coming of our Lord on Christmas morning, but moreso we anticipate His final coming from upon high. In His second coming, Jesus promises all believers will be gathered with Him into everlasting paradise. This year we will use the prophet Isaiah to explore how God uses the mountains in Holy Scripture to draw all people to Him. From Mt. Sinai where God gave the Law through Moses, to the Mount of Calvary where our Lord hung upon the cross, God has used mountains as a means of drawing His people closer to Him. Join us this December as we listen to God’s Word, as we hope and anticipate His second coming, and as we sing His praises for all He has done for us.
