3rd Annual BBQ Taste Fest by One Sheep Ministry
Saturday, August 20, 2-5pm. This is event is provided to help the hungry and the homeless in service to Christ

9/11/11 September 11th 10th Anniversary Remembrance Worship
We invite all the community to join us at Grace on the morning of September 11, 2011 for services of remembrance of the terrorist attacks 10 years ago. This will be a time
for all to reflect in prayerful worship of these events past. It will be a time for all to be able to reflect upon tragic events like Sept. 11 in light of God's Word. We will
sing a song originally written in 2002 to mark the 1st anniversary of September 11th and will have other songs fit for the occasion. These Remembrance Worship services will
be at our regularly scheduled times of 8:00am and 10:30am.
9/24/11 Steak Roast by One Sheep Ministry
Saturday, September 24, 2-5pm. This event is a fundraiser for the Personal Caring Ministry
run by the One Sheep Ministries group here at Grace. The Personal Caring Ministry is all about saving the low income

10/15/11 Fall Craft Show and Cookie Sale
Saturday, October 15, 9am - 3pm. This is the annual show put on by Grace's Ladies Society and is much beloved by all. Please

10/22/11 LWML Fall Zone Rally
Saturday, October 22, 9am. All women are invited to the Zone Rally to hear speaker Scott Liggett from Lutheran
Child and Family Services of Michigan. Please view this flyer for more information.
11/4/11 Autumn Barn Dance
Friday, November 4, 6pm - 10pm. Doors will open at 6 with music by Daddy G.
Knight starting at 7. A fun evening for all ages. Please view

11/23 + 11/24 Thanksgiving Worship
We will celebrate the National Day of Thanksgiving with two worship opportunities. You
may join us Wednesday, November 23 at 7:00pm or Thursday, November 24 at 10:00am. At either time, we invite
you to share your thanksgivings by bringing items for the Personal
Caring Ministry.
Wednesdays Advent 2011 Schedule
This year's Advent worship theme is "Savior of the Nations Come". The theme is taken
from Isaiah 40, an amazing chapter from the messianic prophet that explores all of the great themes of Advent.
Each week will feature a popular Advent hymn that is already connected to the theme. The worship schedule
will be as follows:
- Wed 11/30 at 11am and 7pm
- Wed 12/7 at 11am and 7pm
- Wed 12/14 at 11am and 7pm
- Wed 12/21 at 11am and 7pm
12/11/11 Children's Christmas Program
The Children's Christmas Program will be Sunday, December 11th, at 2:00pm. An afterglow
will follow in the Fellowship Hall located in the church basement.
12/24/11 Christmas Eve Worship
Our Christmas Eve worship services will be held at 6:00pm and 11:00pm on Christmas Eve. Each
services will be a candlelight service and use our favorite Christmas hymns as praise and worship to our Savior
born in Bethlehem.
12/25/11 Christmas Morning Worship
Our Christmas Day worship service will be held at 10:00am on Sunday, December 25th. Members
should note that even though this is a Sunday, we are combining our worship services into one as is normally our
custom for Christmas Day morning. There will be no Bible study or Sunday School that morning that families may
celebrate together at home before and after worship.
12/31/11 New Year's Eve Worship
Our New Year's Eve worship and celebration of God's providence and a New Year will be
on Saturday, December 31, at 6:00pm.
1/1/2012 New Year's Day Worship
Our New Year's Day worship service will be held at 10:00am on Sunday, January 1st. Members
should note that even though this is a Sunday, we are combining our worship services into one. There will be no
Bible study or Sunday School that morning.
2/12/2012 Valentines Dinner
A Congregational Valentine's Dinner will be held Sunday February 12 from 5:00 - 7:00pm here at Grace.
Tickets are necessary to get a head count of attendees but there is no cost involved.
4/22/2012 Ladies Spring Tea
The Ladies Spring Tea will be Sunday April 22 from 2:00 - 5:00pm here at Grace. All ladies are invited
to host a table or be a guest of the tea. This year's theme will be "The Garden" and our speaker will be Mary Ann Hayter. Please
