Children
In Worship
First and foremost, we want your kids in worship. It is important from the very youngest of ages that our young ones be in the Lord's house and they learn first-hand from Mom and Dad how and why we worship. It is one thing to promise to teach your kids the importance of worship as they grow older, but it is another to show them week in and week out from birth. Many parents worry about their kids making noise and being disruptive during worship and our response is: bring them anyways. Even Jesus welcomed the little children to himself even as his own disciples trying to rebuke them away. We'd rather have your children in worship making a little noise than to not have them at all. If they are having an especially rough day there is always ample space out in the narthex or in the church office to take them out for a few minutes of recuperation.
Nursery
Having said all that, we do have a nursery room available on Sunday mornings with a crib, changing table, baby diapers, wipes, and small toys for children to have quite time. The speaker system from the worship sanctuary is also linked to the nursery that parents may be able to listen in on worship. The nursery is not staffed but parents are welcome to take their young children in their stay as necessary.
